Description :
3,4,5-Trifluoropyridine is an antiviral agent that has been shown to have a modulating effect on the hepatitis C virus. It binds to the chloride ion in the virus and interacts with the trifluoromethyl group of the molecule. This interaction prevents the formation of hydrogen bonds and inhibits viral replication. 3,4,5-Trifluoropyridine can be used in combination with piperazine to inhibit cell growth and induce apoptosis. The chemical formula for this drug is C6H3F3N3O2.
