Description

2,3,4,6-Tetrafluorophenol is a chemical compound that has been used in the synthesis of dibenzodioxins and dibenzofurans. It can be eluted from a column with an acid solution or by using a solvent system such as methanol-chloroform. The product ions generated by the chemical ionization mass spectrometry (CIMS) analysis of 2,3,4,6-tetrafluorophenol are m/z=224 and m/z=190. The primary culture of rat hepatocytes was used to examine the effects of 2,3,4,6-tetrafluorophenol on protein synthesis and cell viability. The cells were exposed to concentrations ranging from 0.01 mM to 10 mM for 24 hours and then examined for their ability to synthesize proteins and their viability.
