Description :
Trimethylsilyl trifluoroacetate is a chemical substance that can be used as an efficient method for the synthesis of glycol ethers. It is also used in the production of pharmaceuticals and other organic compounds. Trimethylsilyl trifluoroacetate inhibits the production of natriuretic peptides and has been shown to have a beneficial effect on chronic kidney disease. This chemical substance has an inhibitory effect on chemical substances, such as hydroxyl group or carbonyl group, and infectious diseases, such as bacteria and viruses. Trimethylsilyl trifluoroacetate can be hydrolyzed by alkali to form trifluoromethanesulfonic acid.
