Description :2,3,5,6-Tetrafluorobenzoic acid is a chemical that is used in pest control. This chemical is applied to surfaces where pests are present and it reacts with moisture to release hydrogen fluoride gas. 2,3,5,6-Tetrafluorobenzoic acid has been found to be effective in the reduction of pyrethroid insecticides. It has been found to be less toxic than other chemicals used for this purpose and can be easily removed from surfaces by washing. The reaction time of 2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzoic acid is not more than 5 minutes.
