Description

3,3,3-Trifluoroprop-1-en-2-yl acetate is a chiral organic molecule that is used as a palladium catalyst for the carboxylic acid copolymerization. It can be prepared by reacting vinyl acetate with trifluoromethylation reagents such as trifluoroacetic anhydride. 3,3,3-Trifluoroprop-1-en-2-yl acetate is soluble in both ionic and nonionic solvents and has been shown to be immobilized on solid supports. This compound is also optically active due to its chirality.
