1,1,1-Trifluoro-5,5-dimethyl-2,4-hexanedione is an organometallic compound with a nitrogen atom. It is used in the production of stable complexes that are resistant to oxidation and reduction. This compound has been shown to be an efficient organometallic complex catalyst for the oxidation of hydrocarbons. 1,1,1-Trifluoro-5,5-dimethyl-2,4-hexanedione has also been used to produce zirconium oxide nanostructures by chemical vapor deposition. The chemical properties of this compound can be determined using mass spectrometry and light emission measurements. It has also been shown to have a positive effect on monoclonal antibodies.
