Description

N-Trifluoroacetyladriamycin-14-O-Hemiadipate is a drug that inhibits cell growth. It has been shown to be effective in animal research, where it was shown to inhibit the uptake of adriamycin and create stable complexes with this drug. This compound has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on cancer cells in tissue culture, specifically chronic lymphocytic leukemia and radiation exposure. N-Trifluoroacetyladriamycin-14-O-Hemiadipate has also been found to bind to DNA templates and prevent the synthesis of RNA and protein.
