Informations sur le produit
- [Bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imidate](triphenylphosphine)gold(I)
- (Triphenylphosphine)Gold(I) Bis(Trifluoromethanesulfonyl)Imidate
Triphenylphosphine gold(I) bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imidate is a reagent that can be used to quantitatively convert alcohols to their corresponding esters. It is soluble in ether and organic solvents, and attacks the electron-deficient alkene of diethyl ether. The nucleophilic attack of triphenylphosphine gold(I) bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imidate on an alkene yields the corresponding phosphonium salt, which can be converted back to the original ester by acidification with hydrochloric acid or pyridine. This reagent is also hygroscopic and solubilizes easily in water.
