6-(Trifluoromethyl)indoline is a drug that modulates the activity of serotonin. It has been found to be a potent 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) agonist and to have a profile similar to that of diazepam. 6-(Trifluoromethyl)indoline may be able to bind to both 5-HT2C and dopaminergic receptors, but it has not been shown to have affinity for these receptors in vivo.
