Description :
Vinylsulfonic acid is a biocompatible polymer that is used in the treatment of infectious diseases. It is a sodium salt of vinylsulfonic acid and has been shown to kill bacteria. Vinylsulfonic acid also inhibits the growth of fungi, such as Candida albicans, and can be used for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. This polymer has low toxicity, does not react with tissue culture media, and is chemically stable at room temperature.
