Description

Viniferol D is a polyphenol that is found in red wine. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme acetaldehyde dehydrogenase, which converts acetaldehyde to acetic acid. Viniferol D has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo, and also inhibits the mutagenicity of carcinogens.
