Description

L-Valine ethyl ester HCl is a synthetic cannabinoid that has been shown to bind to the CB2 receptor and inhibit microbial infection. It also blocks the enzyme amine oxidase and nitrite ion, which may have implications for treating metabolic disorders. L-Valine ethyl ester HCl is synthesized by reacting L-valine with ethylene diamine, followed by hydrochloride formation. The compound has been shown to exhibit higher activity than other amino acid esters of hydrochloride (e.g., L-leucine, L-isoleucine).
