VU-0155069 is a small molecule that inhibits fatty acid uptake and metabolism in the kidney. It has been shown to suppress tumor growth in a mouse model of breast cancer by inhibiting fatty acid uptake and metabolism, which reduces the production of proinflammatory molecules.
