Description :
Weinreb linker is a peptidomimetic that can be used as a surrogate for the amino acid residue proline. It has been shown to bind to a number of different receptors and has been used in the synthesis of melanocortin analogues. This linker is linear, with an amide bond at one end and an acid residue at the other. The Weinreb linker has also been used in peptidic and cyclic syntheses.
