Description :
Zingiberis saponin I is a water-soluble extract of the plant Dioscorea zingiberensis. It is a type of saponin that can be found in plants, fungi, and bacteria. It has been reported to have hepatoprotective properties. Zingiberensis saponin I has been shown to inhibit the activity of β-glucosidase, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of cholesterol, and it also inhibits neutrophil migration. This product may be used as a substitute for Dioscorea villosa (wild yam), which is more expensive.
