Description :
Zinc nitrate hydrate is a chemical reagent that is used to produce zinc oxide. It has been shown to reduce the amount of wastewater produced by textile manufacturing processes and can be used to remove heavy metals from wastewater. Zinc nitrate hydrate is also used as a substrate in radiation-sensitive applications, such as the film industry, where it reduces the amount of radiation needed for exposing films. This compound is also stable at high temperatures, making it suitable for use in industrial processes. The chemical structure of zinc nitrate hydrate includes two aminoterephthalic acid groups and one hydroxyl group. Chemiluminescence analysis shows that this compound emits light when heated by zirconium oxide.
