Trimethyl 1,2,3-propanetricarboxylate is a chemical compound that has been synthesized and used as an additive in the production of polymers. It is also used as a nasal decongestant. Trimethyl 1,2,3-propanetricarboxylate is an alkenyl carboxylic acid with three methyl groups attached to the propane group. The addition of chlorine atoms to the molecule increases its efficiency as a blood pressure medication.
