Description

2,4-Diphenyl-4-methyl-1-pentene is a chemical substance that has been used as an analog for the compound 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine. It can be used to crosslink proteins and other biological molecules by reaction with hydroxyl groups. The transfer mechanism of this substance is based on the formation of covalent bonds between two adjacent molecules.
