Indole-3-acetic acid sodium salt has been used for a variety of purposes including the treatment of chronic kidney disease by enhancing solute levels and preventing cellular damage from osmotic stress. This chemical enhances fertility by increasing the number of spermatozoa and by stimulating the production of progesterone in females.
