Informations sur le produit
4-(Methoxymethoxy)benzaldehyde (4-MOMB) is a compound that has been shown to have anticancer potential. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells, including breast cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. 4-MOMB may be used as a chemopreventive agent or an adjuvant therapy for cancer. 4-MOMB has shown to inhibit oxidative activity and decrease the number of free radicals in experimental models. This compound also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis. The antimicrobial property of 4-MOMB is due to its ability to inhibit bacterial growth by binding to DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes that maintain the integrity of bacterial DNA.
