Description

Hydrocortisone 21-valerate is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties. Hydrocortisone 21-valerate is water soluble and can be used in solutions for injection or topical applications. It is an ester of hydrocortisone and valeric acid. Hydrocortisone 21-valerate is also known as valerianate hydrocortisone, hydrocortisone acetate, or hydrocortisonum valerianate. Hydrocortisone 21-valerate has been shown to be effective in treating the symptoms of allergic reactions, eczema, and seborrhea when applied topically.
