Informations sur le produit
- acetamide, N-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-
- N-(3,5-Dichlorophenyl)acetamide
N-(3,5-Dichlorophenyl)acetamide is a genotoxic compound that has been shown to cause DNA damage and chromosomal aberrations in cultured human cells. It also damages the proximal tubules of the kidney, leading to a decrease in renal function. The damaging effects were found to be increased with the addition of piperonyl butoxide, and decreased by the presence of α-tocopherol. In a study of rats, it was found that N-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)acetamide is reactive and nucleophilic and reacts with flavin mononucleotide (FMN), causing acid formation. This can lead to renal toxicity as well as hepatotoxicity.
