Informations sur le produit
Methyl 4(Z),7(Z),10(Z),13(Z),16(Z)-docosapentaenoate is a natural lipid that belongs to the group of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids. It has been shown to inhibit colorectal cancer and metastasis in animal models. Methyl 4(Z),7(Z),10(Z),13(Z),16(Z)-docosapentaenoate also inhibits epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) kinase activity and reduces tumor size in animal models. The mechanism of action of this compound is not yet known, but it may be due to its ability to bind EGFR and inhibit EGFR-mediated signal transduction pathways. This compound has also been shown to have anti-angiogenic properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit angiogenesis by blocking the VEGF receptor 2.
