Description :
Methyl alpha,alpha-difluorophenylacetate (MFPDPA) is a potent antagonist at the CB1 receptor. It has been shown to be effective against encephalitis, as well as schizophrenia and other psychosis disorders, in animal models. MFPDPA has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in the intestine and lungs. This drug may be useful for treating cirrhosis and asthma because it inhibits chemokine production. MFPDPA also has a protective effect on the brain by inhibiting astrogliosis and cerebral sclerosis.
