Description

Lancerin is a growth factor that is involved in cell metabolism and the regulation of IGF-I levels. It has been shown to stimulate the production of serine protease, which is a protein that is involved in a number of cellular processes including inflammation, cell growth, and apoptosis. Lancerin also has an inhibitory effect on cancer cells by stimulating the production of p-hydroxybenzoic acid and igf-i. The molecule also stimulates dinucleotide phosphate synthesis, which plays an important role in ATP synthesis. Lancerin also inhibits fatty acid synthesis by suppressing the expression of enzymes such as fatty acid synthase (FAS) and acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC). Lancerin is found in plants such as lichen, mosses, and fungi. The molecule can be isolated from these sources or synthesized chemically.
