Informations sur le produit
2-Chloro-5-[(2,2-dimethylpropanoyl)amino]methyl]-N-(1H-imidazol-2-yl)benzamide is a potent inhibitor of the receptor for substance P. It is used as a research tool to study the interactions between peptides and proteins, as well as to study antibody production and gene expression. 2C5A binds with high affinity to the receptor for substance P and blocks its activation by preventing the release of the neurotransmitter from neurons. This compound has also been shown to inhibit ion channels such as sodium channels and potassium channels.
