Description

(4-Bromophenyl)-(2,3-dihydroindol-1-yl)methanone is a protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitor that has been shown to inhibit PKC signaling pathways in cell culture. This drug has a high purity and is suitable for research purposes. (4-Bromophenyl)-(2,3-dihydroindol-1-yl)methanone can be used as an immunosuppressive agent or to treat cancer. The use of this drug in treating cancer has yet to be determined. It is also used to study the role of PKC in cell biology, pharmacology, and ligand binding. (4-Bromophenyl)-(2,3-dihydroindol-1-yl)methanone is not toxic to cells and does not interfere with ion channel function. This compound may also act as a receptor activator.
