Description :Stathmin is a protein that belongs to the family of stathmins. It is an activator of the small GTPase RhoA and has been shown to regulate ion channels and cell morphology. The antibody we offer recognizes human stathmin, which can be purchased in both His tagged and non-His tagged forms. Stathmin is also a receptor for peptides and ligands, as well as an inhibitor or activator of many other proteins. This protein is involved in the regulation of high voltage-gated calcium channels, potassium channels, and sodium channels in neuronal cells, as well as regulating synaptic transmission. Stathmin has also been shown to inhibit growth factor receptors such as EGF receptors.
