Description

Dirlotapide is a drug that is used to treat obesity and dyslipidemia. It is a diacylglycerol-lowering agent that can be used in the treatment of heart disease, inflammatory diseases, and other animal health problems. Dirlotapide has been shown to reduce levels of fatty acids and triglycerides. This drug also has protein-inhibiting properties, which are thought to be responsible for its ability to lower cholesterol levels by inhibiting the synthesis of apolipoprotein A1. Clinical studies have shown that dirlotapide can lead to insulin resistance, which may contribute to weight gain.
