Description

(1-Methyl-1H-benzoimidazol-2-yl)-hydrazine is a compound that has been shown to have anti-cancer properties. It is a potent inhibitor of mitochondrial membrane potential, which leads to cell apoptosis. It also inhibits the synthesis of DNA and RNA, which are necessary for the growth of tumor cells. Studies have shown that (1-methyl-1H-benzoimidazol-2-yl)-hydrazine may be useful in treating cancer. In addition, this drug may be used in combination with other chemotherapeutic agents to increase its effectiveness.
