Description :Stevioside is a high-purity steviol glycoside that is used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. Stevioside has been shown to have a variety of health benefits, including antioxidant, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory activities. It also has been shown to inhibit the growth of certain bacteria and fungi. This compound is an N-oxide with a hydroxyl group at carbon 12b. These intramolecular hydrogen bonds produce fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light (UV). Stevioside also has conformational properties that depend on its chirality; it exists as two enantiomers: D-stevioside and L-stevioside.
