Description :
1,4-Bis(2-chloroethyl)benzene is a polymer with a molecular weight of 158.17 g/mol. It is used as a monomer in the production of polystyrene and copolymers. 1,4-Bis(2-chloroethyl)benzene has been shown to be an efficient catalyst for the copolymerization of styrene and ethylene, which can be used for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agents and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR). The compound also has nuclear magnetic resonance properties.
