4-(Dimethylamino)azobenzene 4'-Isothiocyanate is a molecule that reacts with basic proteins, such as streptococcus faecalis. The reaction mechanism is thought to be due to the formation of a covalent bond between the azobenzene compound and the amino group of the protein. 4-(Dimethylamino)azobenzene 4'-Isothiocyanate can be used in monoclonal antibody production. It can also be used for detection sensitivity tests and sequenced with enzymes such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR). This product can also be used in enzyme substrates and endogenous substances.
