Informations sur le produit
3-(2-Amino-1-hydroxypropyl)phenol (3AP) is a degradable drug that is used to treat cardiac arrhythmias. It has been shown to reduce the frequency of ventricular premature contractions in patients with congestive heart failure. 3AP is also used for the treatment of other cardiovascular disorders, such as hypertension and angina. 3AP binds to the alpha adrenergic receptor, which increases the force of contraction and reduces the heart rate. The hydrolysis reaction is catalyzed by hydrochloric acid, which may be due to its ability to bind with the hydroxyl group on 3AP molecules.
