2-Chloronaphthalene-1-carboxylic acid is an organic compound that contains a chlorine atom and a nitrogen atom. It is the simplest chlorinated derivative of naphthalene. 2-Chloronaphthalene-1-carboxylic acid is an important intermediate in the synthesis of other compounds, such as herbicides and pharmaceuticals.
