Informations sur le produit
- phosphonic acid, P-(methoxymethyl)-, diethyl ester
Diethyl (Methoxymethyl)phosphonate is an organophosphorus compound that has been used as a binding agent in the treatment of inflammatory diseases. It binds to carboxylic acid groups and forms a complex with metal ions, stabilizing them. This product also acts as a catalyst for acetylation reactions, which are important in the production of pharmaceuticals. Diethyl (Methoxymethyl)phosphonate has also been shown to be an effective anti-inflammatory agent. The mechanism of action is not fully understood but may involve inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis by blocking cyclooxygenase or inhibition of inflammation by blocking the release of histamine from mast cells.
