Description :U 89843a is a GABA receptor modulator that is used as an adjunct therapy for the treatment of epilepsy. It has been shown to increase the number of GABA receptors in the brain and reduce seizures in animal models. U 89843a is also used to study the physiology and function of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors, which are found in most parts of the body including the central nervous system.
