Informations sur le produit
(R)-Pemetrexed is an anticancer drug that inhibits the growth of cancer cells by blocking the enzymes involved in DNA and RNA synthesis. It is a multi-targeted inhibitor that targets several key enzymes, including thymidylate synthase, dihydrofolate reductase, and glycinamide ribonucleotide formyltransferase. (R)-Pemetrexed induces apoptosis in cancer cells by disrupting protein synthesis and causing cell death. This drug is excreted primarily through urine and has been shown to be effective against a variety of tumors, including lung cancer and mesothelioma. (R)-Pemetrexed also has kinase inhibitory activity, which may contribute to its anticancer effects. This analog has been tested on human and Chinese hamster cells with promising results. In addition, (R)-Pemetrexed can be used in combination with tolvaptan for enhanced efficacy against certain types of cancer.
