Informations sur le produit
(S)-AntPhos is a ligand with a high affinity for metal ions and the ability to hydrolyze esters. It has been used in buchwald-type reactions, which are enantioselective coupling reactions. This ligand can be used as an alternative to BINAP in Buchwald-Hartwig reactions by forming a chiral phosphine complex with the alkyne and mesembrine, which is then coupled with an electrophile. The use of (S)-AntPhos provides access to enantioenriched products that cannot be obtained using other methods. One example of such a reaction is the synthesis of (+)alpha-methylbenzyl alcohol from (+)alpha-methylstyrene and methanol. The use of (S)-AntPhos was found to increase the yield of the desired product by up to 10% compared to other ligands.
