Pentafluoro(phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene is a bifunctional additive that can be used in the polymerization of olefins. It has been shown to have low flammability and it is not liable to cause any adverse reactions with other additives. Pentafluoro(phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene is evaluated in a number of experiments, including evaluations of its non-flammability, advances in cycling and thermal stability. This additive has been found to have a reduced cyclic reactivity due to its high thermal stability, making it a useful additive for olefin polymerization.
