Description :
HOKU-81 is a hydroxy group with an inhibitory effect on the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). It is used in the treatment of inflammatory diseases. HOKU-81 is also a potential pharmaceutical agent for inhibiting the production of chemokines, which are cytokines that stimulate inflammatory responses. This drug has shown to be effective against adenosine receptor antagonists and antimuscarinic drugs.
