4-Methylpiperazine-1-carboxylic acid is a centrally acting analgesic, with effects on the cardiovascular system. 4-Methylpiperazine-1-carboxylic acid has been shown to have oculogyration and other central effects in animals. It also affects blood pressure and flow rate through its vasodilating effects. This drug also affects the muscle and nervous system and can be used as an anesthetic.
