Description :
2-Pyridin-3-ylpyrimidine-5-carboxylic acid is a naphthalene derivative that inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins by inhibiting the enzyme prostaglandin synthase. It is also an inhibitor of pyrimidine biosynthesis and an allergic agent. This compound has been shown to be an effective treatment for inflammatory disorders such as asthma, arthritis, and allergic rhinitis. 2-Pyridin-3-ylpyrimidine-5-carboxylic acid can be used in conjunction with other drugs to treat these conditions.
