Description :
Diisononyl cyclohexanedicarboxylate is an organic solvent that is used in sealants and adhesives. It has shown to be a good model system for studying the biodegradation of polyvinylchloride (PVC) in the presence of acetal groups, benzoate, isomeric pyrethroid insecticide, silicon, alcohols, and particles. Diisononyl cyclohexanedicarboxylate is a liquid at room temperature with a boiling point of 100°C. It has a molecular weight of 180 g/mol and is soluble in solvents such as acetone, chloroform, ethylene dichloride, ethers, heptanes, methanol, petroleum ethers and tetrahydrofuran.
