Informations sur le produit
- 3-Fluoro-5-vinylpyridine
- Pyridine, 3-ethenyl-5-fluoro-
3-Ethenyl-5-fluoropyridine is a fluorinated analog of tetrahydrocarbazole that binds to the neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptor. It is a radioligand for use in binding studies and has been shown to have a high affinity for the neuronal nAChR. 3-Ethenyl-5-fluoropyridine has been shown to be an effective catalyst for fluoride ion, which may be due to its ability to bind to fluoride ions more tightly than other ligands. This compound also modifies the properties of the enzyme catalysis, which is required for the conversion of glucose into carbon dioxide and water.
