• Description: EL-102 is a molecule that has potent inhibition of cancer cells. It inhibits the proliferation of prostate cancer cells by inducing apoptosis and inhibiting angiogenesis. EL-102 is currently in clinical development for its use as an antimicrobial treatment, with light emission as a biomarker for infection. The molecule has been shown to have inhibitory effects on bacteria, fungi, and viruses, such as Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1).
