Description

Decaglyceryl monooleate is a fatty acid ester that is used as a cationic surfactant. It has viscosity-increasing and surface-active properties, which are useful in pharmaceutical formulations. Decaglyceryl monooleate is also used to make gelatinized tablets, which can be swallowed with water. The average particle diameter of decaglyceryl monooleate is about 4-5 microns. Decaglyceryl monooleate inhibits the spread of cancer cells by inducing apoptosis in cells.
