Description

Choline oxidase is an enzyme that has been shown to have potential anticancer properties. It works by inhibiting cyclin-dependent kinases, which are proteins that regulate the cell cycle and play a role in cancer cell growth. Choline oxidase has been studied as a potential target for cancer therapy due to its ability to induce apoptosis (cell death) in human cancer cells. In addition, analogs of choline oxidase have been developed as kinase inhibitors, which may have therapeutic potential for the treatment of various types of tumors. Chinese hamster ovary cells have been used to produce choline oxidase, and it has also been detected in human urine samples.
