2-(Dimethoxyphosphoryl)acetic acid is an anti-inflammatory agent that belongs to the class of medicinally active compounds. It is a synthetic drug used in anti-inflammatory preparations. The cyclopentane ring, hydroxy group, and c6 alkyl groups are among the chemical functional groups present in this drug. It has been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory factors such as TNF-α and IL-8. 2-(Dimethoxyphosphoryl)acetic acid also inhibits the synthesis of vitamin D3.
