Description

Lyoniside is a medicine that belongs to the class of natural compounds. It inhibits the BCL-2 protein and activates apoptosis in chinese hamster ovary cells. It has been shown to have a hypoglycemic effect in rats and can be used as an analytical method for detecting oral pathogens. Lyoniside is extracted from the leaves of Chrysanthemum indicum, which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and has also been shown to have inhibitory effects on Streptococcus mutans, a bacterium that causes tooth decay. Lyoniside can be used as an control method for diabetes mellitus type 2.
